Carp Hills – South March Highlands Bio-blitz
May 28, 2011
Carp Agricultural Hall,
3790 Carp Road,
The bio-blitz challenges experts from a number of fields to identify as many species as possible within a 24-hour period. Learn more about the challenging area the specialists will study. The resulting inventory of species will be published in a report summarizing the bio-blitz activities and describing the areas surveyed. All rare and endangered species observations will also be recorded in the Natural Heritage Information Center database. The blitz will also include a geological component and, weather permitting, a Sky Quality Measurement Project.
